We got our start by helping others find theirs.

Forklift realized early on that there was a gap in the culinary market for emerging artisanal brands. That’s why we made it our job to help our customers turn their ideas into viable consumer goods that attract sales and investment. Combining our talent for branding and consumer marketing with our powerful sales and distribution connections, we help small brands become big.



Forklift was built on a foundation of over 25 years in media and global brand management. We’ve worked at some of the word’s most powerful advertising agencies, including DDB, Young & Rubicam, Grey, and Euro RSCG, with hands-on experience building global brands like Gatorade, Bud Light, Mars, Pantene, Colgate, Danone, and Telefonica. Our international background has given us a first-hand understanding of some of the world’s biggest economies—from emerging markets to Europe and the United States.



Turning a passion into a profession, Forklift founder Betsy Fox leads a culinary brand-management team that helps food and lifestyle entrepreneurs take their ideas from concept to consumer. Forklift works closely with clients to develop personalized go-to-market plans for their specialty food and lifestyle brands. We help our clients from start to finish with brand positioning, product development, portfolio management, and distribution strategy—as well as advise on industry trends, portfolio management, and what it takes to build a successful brand in the digital era.


The future smells delicious at Forklift. Our list of clients and accolades is only growing, and so are our plans for new sales and distribution partnerships, which mean more opportunity for our brands. We’re broadening our experience beyond just food and hospitality with exciting new eCommerce endeavors, and an added expertise in licensing and merchandising. Betsy Fox


Betsy began her career as a multinational advertising executive at DDB Chicago in strategic media planning for Bud Light and has since helped to build some of the world's most innovative and profitable CPG brands for DDB, Y&R, Grey Group, and Euro RSCG BETC in Paris before founding Forklift.


Amory Millard


Building on her years as a brand and business-development executive, Amory's experience includes driving revenue and licensing for leading entertainment, lifestyle, and corporate properties like M&M's, Revlon, Cartoon Network, World Wildlife Fund, and The Beatles.


Lisa Simpson

Creative Director

Lisa is a globally-experienced creative director with over 20 years’ agency experience in New York and London, specializing in brand creation, identity, and packaging design. Lisa brings to Forklift a passion for good design and memorable branding that helps businesses stand out from the crowd.


Chris Michael

Creative Director

Chris comes to Forklift from the New York advertising agency world, having helped build some of today's most recognizable brands like Wendy's, Kraft, Nestlé, P&G, Colgate, Stella Artois, Jameson, Chipotle, Red Lobster, and CAULIPOWER.


Katie Grobman

Account Executive

A recent graduate of NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, Katie joins the Forklift team with a broad range of experience in the grocery business, food sales, and startup ventures.


Adam Cohen

Digital Strategy Director

A Wisconsin transplant, Adam brings years of experience at the cross section of the entertainment industry and brand marketing worlds leading award winning work for Coca-Cola, Sprite, McDonald's, Bushmills, Sonos, The North Face, Spotify, and more. 


Carter Roland

Content Director

Previously an editorial director for online hub Spoon University, Carter's addition to Forklift brings to the table a strong background in social media, social marketing, and digital content from several startups in the food industry.
